Base
The original Workshop Vegetarian Cafe was established in the fall of 2016 on a cozy corner of Pemberton and 3rd Street with the mountains as our backdrop in North Vancouver. We opened our second location in East Vancouver in July 2018. Our Japanese inspired menu provides what we’re best known for: delicious, wholesome, plant based, and handcrafted vegetarian and vegan fare. From our signature ramen and udon noodle bowls, to our buddha bowls with rice and miso gravy, and smashed avocado toast on our organic natural yeast bread, we provide options for everyone for all meals of the day.
Questions and answers
Why is the soup so expensive when all it is is broth, rice noodles and a tiny tiny amount of vegetables? I imagine the ingredients for the entire dish must cost you about $1.

My very favourite restaurant when I visit Vancouver! The first thing I do when I arrive is order some Ramen noodles. The food is delicious and the service is always so friendly. Thank you!

My favourite vegetarian restaurant.I ordered takeout from here today and it was good as always. I think the prices are accurate given the amount of work that goes into making their food. You can tell these are fresh made noodles!!

I’ve been here quite a few times now and every time it’s the same great service, quality and flavours. Staff is always humble, friendly, and accommodating. Food is always fresh and tasty! The organic ingredients make the flavours just radiate. The atmosphere is relaxed and the ample natural light makes this place super chill and comforting. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone.

Delicious vegan and vegetarian food! Lots of options and all very delicious. Trendy looking place Wouldwith a Thai food leaning. Would for sure come here again. Nice big portions. Unique flavours. A large variety of choices to pick from whatever your mood. I like how they had a good selection of hot and cold food, lots of whole food plant based options as well as heartier options. Wish I could come back again to try more. The location was a little hard to get to with Google maps and the parking lot is a bit awkward, but still worth the visit.
